INTEGRATION AND API AUTOMATION

Stable interfaces beat fragile screens.

We connect ERPs, CRMs and SaaS platforms through APIs, middleware and events, and replace brittle UI automation wherever an interface exists.

THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES

Screen scraping is the costly path.

Many bots click through applications that already expose perfectly good APIs. Every UI change, slow page load or session timeout becomes an incident. Throughput is limited by how fast a screen can render.

API-first automation calls the system directly. It is faster, it does not break when a button moves, and it returns structured errors instead of ambiguous screens. We keep UI automation for legacy systems that offer nothing else, and build integration with the engineering that production data movement needs: idempotency, retries, ordering and security.

Faster throughput.

API calls complete in milliseconds where screen steps take seconds.

Fewer breakages.

Contracts change far less often than user interfaces.

Event-driven.

Work starts the moment a record changes, with no polling delay.

Safe to retry.

Idempotent design means a repeated call never posts a duplicate.

WHAT WE DELIVER

Integration work, end to end.

REST and SOAP integration

Clients and services built against OpenAPI and WSDL contracts, with pagination, rate limits and versioning handled.

01

iPaaS and middleware

Flows on integration platforms and connector catalogues, with mapping, transformation and central error handling.

02

Event-driven triggers

Webhooks, message queues and change events that start bots, flows or agents as soon as data changes.

03

UI-to-API replacement

Analysis of existing bots to find screen steps that can move to APIs, then refactoring them in place.

04

ERP and CRM integration

Orders, invoices, master data and case updates synchronised across ERP, CRM, HRMS and ITSM systems.

05

API security

OAuth 2.0 flows, mutual TLS, scoped service accounts, secret rotation and request logging that meets audit needs.

06
OUR APPROACH

Contract first, then code.

01

Map systems and data

We list every system, its available interfaces, authentication methods, rate limits and data ownership, and mark where only UI access exists.

02

Define contracts

Payloads, field mappings, error codes and idempotency keys are agreed before build. Sample messages become test fixtures.

03

Build with resilience

Retries use exponential backoff for transient faults. Permanent errors go to a dead-letter queue with full context for review.

04

Test under load

We test contract compliance, failure injection, duplicate delivery and peak volumes in a non-production environment.

05

Operate and observe

Correlation IDs, structured logs and alerts trace every message from source to target, and feed into support run books.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What API-first automation typically delivers.

Real-time

Data flow

Changes propagate between systems in seconds instead of batch windows.

Fewer

Incidents

Bots stop breaking every time a screen layout or browser version changes.

Higher

Throughput

The same infrastructure handles far more transactions per hour.

Exactly once

Posting

Idempotency keys prevent duplicate orders, invoices and payments on retry.

FAQ

Questions we hear first.

Can't see yours? Ask an automation architect

When do you still use UI automation?

When the system has no API, the API does not cover the needed transaction, or licensing makes API access impractical. Mainframe green screens, older desktop applications and some government portals often fall into this group.

Do we need to buy an iPaaS?

Not necessarily. Your RPA platform may already include integration capabilities, and many integrations are simple enough for well-built code. We recommend an iPaaS when connector count, volumes and governance needs justify it.

How do you prevent duplicate transactions on retries?

Each request carries an idempotency key derived from the business transaction. The target, or a store in front of it, rejects repeats, so a retried call never creates a second record.

Can bots and agents call these APIs?

Yes. We often wrap APIs as reusable activities for RPA bots or as typed tools for LLM agents, with the same authentication and logging underneath.
