UIPATH

UiPath estates built to run unattended.

We design, build and support UiPath automations that survive application changes, volume spikes and audits. Queue-driven, exception-aware and documented.

OUR VIEW OF THE PLATFORM

Broad, deep and easy to misuse.

UiPath covers the full automation lifecycle in one suite. Studio for development, Orchestrator for scheduling and queues, Document Understanding for extraction, Action Center for human review, Test Suite for regression. For complex desktop applications, Citrix-hosted systems and high-volume unattended work, it is a strong fit.

It is a poor fit for simple SaaS-to-SaaS data movement that an iPaaS or Integration Service connector handles in a few steps. It also gets expensive when every small task becomes its own unattended robot. We size the licence mix to the work, consolidate low-volume processes onto shared robots, and keep API calls ahead of selectors wherever the target system allows.

Fits well.

Legacy thick clients, Citrix, SAP GUI and high-volume queue-based transactions.

Fits with care.

Document-heavy work, where validation station design decides the outcome.

Often overkill.

Simple notifications and SaaS data sync better served by connectors.

WHAT WE BUILD ON IT

From single bots to governed estates.

REFramework transactional bots

State-machine processes with Init, Get Transaction, Process and End states, clean business and system exception paths, and configurable retries.

01

Dispatcher and performer pairs

Dispatchers load Orchestrator queues with unique references. Performers scale horizontally across robots with no duplicate processing.

02

Document Understanding pipelines

Classification, extraction with pre-trained and custom ML models, confidence thresholds and Validation Station tasks routed to Action Center.

03

Attended assistants

Robots triggered from the desktop or UiPath Assistant to pre-fill forms, look up records and cut agent handling time.

04

Integration Service connectors

Event triggers and API activities for Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365 and other SaaS systems, used in place of UI steps.

05

Test automation and upgrades

Test Suite cases for regression before Studio or target application upgrades, and Windows-Legacy to Windows project migrations.

ENGINEERING STANDARDS

Standards we apply on UiPath.

  • Workflow Analyzer rules enforced before every package is published
  • Every transaction item carries a unique reference to block duplicate processing
  • Business exceptions and system exceptions logged and routed separately
  • Credentials held in Orchestrator or an external credential store, never in config files
  • Selectors anchored and tested against UI changes, with fallbacks documented
  • Config-driven environments so the same package promotes from dev to production
  • Structured logs with transaction fields that feed Insights and service dashboards
  • SDD, runbook and exception catalogue delivered with every production release
  • Git-backed source control with peer review before merge
HOW AN ENGAGEMENT RUNS

From PDD to hypercare.

01

Assess

Review the PDD, walk the process with operators and confirm volumes, variants and exception rates.

02

Design

Write the SDD: queue design, robot allocation, exception taxonomy and the reporting fields.

03

Build and test

Develop in sprints with unit tests, then run UAT on production-like data with business sign-off.

04

Deploy

Promote through Orchestrator folders, set schedules and triggers, and confirm robot capacity.

05

Hypercare

Two to four weeks of close monitoring, tuning and handover to your team or our managed service.

FAQ

Questions we hear first.

Can't see yours? Ask an automation architect

Can you take over an existing UiPath estate built by someone else?

Yes. We start with a code and Orchestrator health review, catalogue the bots by risk and value, and stabilise the noisiest ones first.

Do you work on UiPath Automation Cloud and on-premises Orchestrator?

Both. We also handle moves between them, including folder, queue, asset and credential migration.

How do you keep UiPath licence costs in check?

We track robot utilisation, group low-volume processes onto shared unattended robots, and move pure data movement to APIs or Integration Service.

Can UiPath bots call LLMs safely?

Yes. We route model calls through a controlled API layer with PII masking, schema-validated outputs and human review in Action Center below a confidence threshold.
